Mechanical Seal Stationary Seats are the main seal rings that are installed in the non-rotating parts of a centrifugal pump. This component acts to prevent corrosion and temperature changes within the pump. ZLSEAL offers mechanical seal retainers that are compatible with most OEM centrifugal pumps and components. We offer cup and O-ring mounts in a variety of materials including ceramic, silicon carbide and tungsten carbide. For high temperature requirements or abrasive applications, silicon carbide is the best choice. Ceramic mounts are recommended for standard applications.
